Ingredients

  • 750 mL red wine chilled, dry or semi-dry works best
  • ½ cup orange juice fresh or pulp-free bottled juice
  • 24 ounces frozen mixed berries no thawing needed
  • 3 Tablespoons brandy optional, for a stronger finish

Method

  1. Place the red wine, orange juice, frozen berries, and brandy if using into a high-speed blender, securing the lid tightly before starting.
  2. Begin blending on low speed, gradually increasing to high and using the tamper if needed until the mixture becomes fully smooth and icy.

  3. For a thicker, frostier texture, transfer the blended mixture to the freezer for 15–20 minutes before serving.
