Ingredients

  • 4.2 lb fresh beets washed thoroughly and trimmed
  • ½ cup water used only for the blender method to help blending

Method

  1. Clean the beets by soaking them in a bowl of water, scrubbing off dirt with a vegetable brush, then rinsing well.
  2. Cut the cleaned beets into rough chunks, about 4–8 pieces each, to prepare them for juicing.
Top-down view of freshly cooked or raw beet chunks cut into wedges, vibrant red color, glossy texture, arranged closely on a white background.
  3. Feed the beet chunks through the juicer chute and collect the juice as the machine extracts it.
Close-up of fresh beet juice flowing from a juicer into a clear measuring cup, bright red color with frothy surface, whole beets visible in the background.
  4. Add the beet chunks to a blender, pour in the water, and blend until the mixture becomes completely smooth.
  5. Pour the blended mixture into a nut milk bag or lined strainer and squeeze or press until the juice separates from the pulp.

Notes

Deep ruby red and naturally earthy, this juice feels like something your body instantly thanks you for. Sip it slowly, preferably fresh, and enjoy that unmistakable just-made glow. A splash of lemon or ginger makes it even more crave-worthy.
